Russell & Blanche Miller

Russell Miller and Blanche McDaniel were married at her mother's home in October of 1931. They lived on a farm in Hendrickson Township, near Simcoe, McHenry County, North Dakota, until they purchased a farm SE ¼ Section 25 155-80 in 1942, moving there in 1943.

Russell and Blanche McDaniel had one son and two daughters.

Gailen Richard was born June 12, 1933. He graduated from Granville High School in 1951, Jamestown College in 1955, and Hardfort Theology Seminary in Hardford, Connecticut in 1958.

Gailen was ordained as a Congregational minister in the Granville Hope Congregational Church on June 1, 1958. His ministry for six years was in Cleveland, Ohio, with a group ministry in the Inner City Protestant Parish. He married Jean Kromann on April 9, 1959 in Cleveland. Gailen and Jean were the parents of Steve Allen and Eric Scott McDaniel. The Rev. Gailen Miller was killed in an automobile accident on February 1, 1965.

Sharon Marie graduated from Granville High School in 1952, worked as a dental assistant for a year, then took a position with N.W. Bell in Williston and Phoenix, Arizona. She married Wallace Vance on October 21, 1956 in the Hope Congregational Church.

They lived in Williston, where she later worked in Williams County Auditors Office, becoming Deputy County Auditor. They had two adopted sons: Scott Wallace and Robert Russell.

Myrna Jean Miller graduated from Granville High School in 1959, attended Jamestown College for a year, then entered St. Joseph's Nursing School, graduating in 1963.

On October 26, 1963, she married Michael J. Haberlock. They had two sons and one daughter: Michael Alan, Craig James, and Patricia Lynn.
