Founded in 1900, and incorporated in 1907, the small city of Granville is located in Granville Township, McHenry County, North Dakota.
Granville is located along US Highway 2, east of Minot and west of Towner. Buffalo Lodge Lake and North Lake are northeast of the city, while Oslie Lake is to the south of Granville.
